I am thinking of running a Curse of Strahd game, and I have only now discovered how weirdly popular Strahd (this being the same murderous undead fiend who killed his own brother and drank his blood to achieve immortality, and drove Tatyana to fling herself off the battlements of Castle Ravenloft to escape him) is in some quarters, so much so that now I think I am going to need a sign during each playing session that reads "please don't simp for the psychopathic vampire."

Freaking i would love to play a Curse of Strahd campaign where i'm the only one with common sense. I mean imagining the back and forth i'll have with my party members as i'm trying to understand what the heck is wrong with them is freaking great!
