the long range double kick heat engager move is f4,4, not f3,3 as you keep calling it in the video

First of all I want to say that I'm writing this comment with the best intent in mind, I love t8, love the character, and I wish you the best luck with your channel hoping to grow fast and quick. That said, there are too many incorrect, incomplete or outright wrong statements and since this guide is aimed to beginners, it is better to start with the most accurate information possible rather than correct bad habits in the future. Let's have a look: 1,1 --> you don't have to go 1,1 every time. Just 1 is ok, especially in the first couple of rounds to get the "rythm" of your opponent. 1 is +1 on block, 1,1 is -9. Get a feel for when it might get a counter hit. If you are a beginner it can be hard to hit confirm 1,1,1+2,1 online, so if you go 1,1,1+2 it is not the end of the world, especially in heat, and you can allways finish the string if u predict your opponent is going to press. 2,1,2,1 --> I can write an essay about this string. This string alone can get you to purple ranks if you master it. First of all, if you whiff (on purpose or not) the first hit and CH the second one, the rest is guarantee so go ham. Then the 3rd and 4th hits are highly delayable, do that. Between the 2nd and the 3rd hit there is an auto parry built in it, so encourage them to press in it, make it look like you whiffed, or train them you allways stop the string, then delay and hit. The last hit is a CH launcher. If your opponent is button happy, and they will be at low ranks, delay even more the last hit and launch them. The real weakness is that the 3rd hit is high, but you won't find anyone that can punish that till fujin and above. At orange and red ranks they will start to randomly duck, not because they know, just as a general reflex, in that case do the last hit fast. 3,3 --> use it but not abuse it. You will hit 100% of the time till purple ranks, then they will start to low parry it. You can still use it once in a match even there, but if you are in the habit of abusing it, you will need to unlearn that, and it will take some time, so start correctly. 4,4 --> DO NOT use it as a poking tool. If they block you will get punished, even at low ranks. its only purpose is to punish -12 moves with push back, the most useful example is bryan's df+2,3. And you have better whiff punishes. db+1+2 --> the most common use is when you are getting pressured at wall. Never use this move against characters with a lot of knees elbow, throws or jumping attacks. But it is good vs mishimas or steve for example. In the neutral it is better to use d+1+2 beause it is safe and less linear. f+2+3 --> try to use it at tip range. It's i22 meaning that at low ranks you won't be able to use it when your opponent is close. Use a lot of b+1+2 and b+1 instead. u+4 --> it's an orbital not an hop kick. I had to say it :D b+3 --> don't use it at low ranks. They will never leave you the time to hit with it. Start implementing it at red ranks, then it will fall off again at tekken king territory. Use the new db+3 instead, it can be considered the new main low. It leads you in heremit stance at +5, and it is safe on block with an asterisk, in the sense that if you react to the block and they try to punish, with any punish, you can do parry from heremit and it will work. They can still wait for that and launch you, but i have not found anyone that knows of this interaction to this date. On ch 4,1+2 or 1+2,1 are guarantee, depending if you want more damage or heat. Speaking of lows d+3,2 is the classic (it is not seeable, and nobody will correctly punish it till high ranks, if you see them block the 2, spam 1, it will work), d+2,4 if you need a fast one (alternate between ending and not ending the string), and db+4 is super nerfed use it very sparingly when you know you are going to counter hit. It leads to db+2,1+2 but no more mini combo and it is -15 on block. Best oki tho. For heremit I'd add 4 (and 4,1+2 if you want to finish the string) cause it is your fastest option, if your opponent is still pressing buttons. uf+2 --> don't use it as a whiff punish, you have way better options. It's a pressure tool for the wall or after heat engage, but don't use it at low ranks, the move is too slow. I'd add more but I'll end here.I hope this is usefull to someone, somewhere in the internet and take this comment as a constructive critique. Wish you the best luck

That’s crazy Leroy is the least used character, he’s one of the coolest just off design and the way he fights if you’re a fan of the IP movies or Wing Chun in general he should be used more
  • @Darksora79
Now this is what I call a tutorial! I loved the “in match” example, the breakdown of going into hermit and out of it. I especially loved the breakdown of matches at the end. Good shit, I’m subbing and trying him tomorrow.
  • @OctopusH2O
Wonderful guide, subscribed, i knew all of this but watched out of boredom and it was really entertaining!
  • @Scully1800
Leroy was the first character I gravitated towards I mean look at the drip
  • @bdizzle145
After getting intimidated by Raven and bored of Jin, I'm excited to try Leroy, love the VA and hoping to do well with him
  • @Ibecatin
I'm plateauing with this character as a new Tekken player so thank you for dropping this guide!
  • @MrJCMasterman
As someone who just started with Tekken 8 and wants to learn Leroy, this is incredibly helpful! ❤️
  • @anthonyonabus
Love the guide and the matches you showed at the end!
  • I'm new to Tekken and I really liked the guide. Other guides tell what safe moves to do and frame data which is cool and all but you tell the application, then when and the why and a game plan which really helps a newb like me understand it more. The gameplay at the end was nice cuz you only used what you just taught and not some other high level stuff. Thanks a lot.
  • @JBrown-oq1hg
As a Leroy main, I had to give you the sub. Cheers
  • @cacta7799
I really appreciate the sample matches at the end. It really helps with application.
  • @fhtswstudios4260
Thanks for the guide, really easily understandable! I always wanted to give Leroy a try after I've seen he's so unpopular in this version of the game.
  • @Frater073
