thanks for sharing .. great looking set up and the ease of parking will be a joy without a 5thwheel on your ass when your traveling.. small towns and tight gas stations will be a breeze to get in and out of now... wish you safe travels in your new rig

Tom's in Mesa are not pros when it comes to the 620. We had several things on our 620 (toilet, camera, reading light, fridge latch) that they couldn't fix, but after reading and research I was able to fix on my own. They also told me my Tundra was perfect for this camper. The camper dry exceeded the Tundra payload. My fault? Perhaps. I traded the Tundra in for an F250 with 3200 lbs payload. Love my 620. Wife wants an enclosed wet bath toilet shower system. With the 620, you really need to ne comfortable with your camping buddy when it comes to that toilet at 3 in the morning LOL. Why the blocks under your camper? It's so high above your cab. Get a horse mat at Tractor Supply and call it a day. Also, tha Alde water heater should be off overnight when you dry camp or it will drain your battery. Keep the heater on if it's cold out, but turn that water heater off bro. Oh, you can use a shortened garden hose with that Nautilus and flip the levers to "sanitize" and it will suck fresh water up from a bucket to fill your tank. It may take a couple of tries before it primes the suck. Regarding generators, a nice quiet 2500 Westinghouse meets my needs. Be sure to only run one high watt item at a time (eg AC, microwave, coffee pot, etc.) . Last thing. You're right about the mattress. But keep the froley springs. They limit condensation under there. Get a 2 inch memory foam topper for that mattress and you'll be very pleased.

This video is great! ...exactly the sort of discussion I was looking for. Planning to retire next year, and I'm looking at truck campers and small towables, leaning toward the former. Your setup is beautiful! Thanks. 👍

Nice color on the camper. With 2 batteries you should be able to go days before you get low power. We have the one battery and in the morning we are only down 40% and the sun will recharge that. Also be mindful of what you store next to the camper between the truck and camper. We have left a couple of good marks in the camper. Other then a few things mostly not having a shower we really like ours. Have fun

Bought the 2022 cirrus 620 to take with us down the Alcan from Alaska to Oregon. So nice at the end of the day to pull over and have your camp ready. 2020 gmc HD 2500 no problems with weight. Have goalzero yeti as my generator, keep it back seat under custom platform. Put a soft start on the AC and can run it off GZ for 4 hours b4 needed to hook up to solar to recharge. Toilet is a life saver and build a shower station out of pvc pipe and curtain, easy up and down for storage. Great camper thanks for sharing.

nice setup.. and luna lake is a nice place to unwind if you lookin for another good spot I'd recommend big lake area bigger trees more shade and the views are stunning also reservation lake you'll get cooler temps from the shade its really shaded from the big huge trees and big lake has a little store.. your just a lil down the road from me I'm on rainbow lake in lakeside.. sleep number makes a RV size mattress its so like and can't get bed bugs or anything like that also super light weight I mean ur wife could move it around and u'll get dual zone adjustability so u can be one number and she can be another they come with like a 20+ year guarentee/warranty a well worth upgrade no box spring needed
  • Love this ! I'm tired of towing a 44' toy hauler. Looks great. I like that you can close the tailgate.

Great vid and I hope over time that you still like it. However, I personally wouldn’t rely on the bed tied downs for that.

They are a nice looking camper. I like the skylight window. It’s too small for me. We bought a 2022 Lance 1172. 2 slides. Weighs more than 5000 lbs. my gmc 3500 handles it ok. We have a 3 way fridge. On 12volt it draws a lot of power. I like the new acrylic windows. They open way out for ventilation. Must be your plug set up for your running lights. Mine just plugs in. Lights work ok. Rear lights come up when you go into reverse.

I'm in the same situation with my one ton F350, love the Northern Lite but the price is way up there. Looks good and I like the set up thank you for sharing.

Bottom piece of mattress is awesome!!! Keeps mold out and humidity out!!! Just add a topper or just up grade your mattress to be thicker, than looks like a 3 inch mattress you have on it now.

Had a similar running light issue with my 2021 2500 and my Scout Olympic. In my case, connecting the camper caused my turn signal blinkers to hyper flash. The solution for me was to buy a device that plugs into the camper and then I plug the 7 pin cable into it. I think it adds some resistance to the light circuit like you would do when replacing halogen turn signal bulbs with LED bulbs. Works well so far.

In my Scout Olympic, I also hated the mattress as I am also a side sleeper. We added the Froli system that did help. Finally I had to add a 2 inch memory foam topper. Its ok but not great. I still wake up at night to roll around when my shoulder hurts. I think the best solution is to buy a custom high quality mattress. Very pricey. I would keep the Froli system as it allows air to circulate under the matteress to reduce condensation and the potential for mold growth.

Wow, nice camper! It’s our dream to downsize one day, right now it’s kinda impossible with 3 dogs 😅 We’re heading to Arizona next month do will follow along your channel for tips on places like that!
  • @RutherfordTony
I hope it gets better. That's a lot of issues for it to be new. I would take it back and tell the dealer to fix the issues otherwise your going to become more unhappy as it goes. Safe travels.

I bought one this summer. I was dis-pointed. The batterys go dead after 2 days and dont charge unless on shore power. That is just running fridge. It draws 3 amp, just do the math and maybe 30% for loss to battery. I have 2 battery. They are suppose to be agm but thy gave me glass pack.Door to propane leaked damage beginning. They mickey moused the door seal . At present it is not leaking. I am not happy.

I use the Honda 3200 inverter generator and it powers the whole unit up plus AC on max no problem for my 620
  • Great tour and did you have to do any mods to the truck to accommodate the camper? Any changes to tires or suspension needed or were you good to go as is
