Nice episode Mark, yes there is nothing like shooting in harsh light. It makes the photography that much rewarding when you get a few keepers. Looks like a great place for a fall visit or even a winter shoot. Good to see you relaxing for once.

Great video Mark. I like that you showed us the "bad" shots, however I didn't see many keepers. Typical mid day, harsh light. One of the advantages of going with someone, Mare in this case, is the ability to see what they are seeing. How many times have I overlooked a shot because for whatever reason, I wasn't looking.

I think harsh lighting actually has its charms and can work in certain locations, especially on the darker shadows. Your shot around the 4:00 mark was beautiful, lucky your partner got immersed in it! Thanks for sharing. Enjoyed this one

Once again, great stuff. Love the image at 4:42, reminds me of a cascade you see in a slot canyon in Utah. I camped in Macedonia Brook SP in the Spring two years ago. Can't be sure but it very well could have been the same site you used.
