About that first one, in the Plus Worlds, Mario says "Good job, little guy !" when he leads the Mini to the door, while in the remake he also says nothing.

For those wondering why the level at 3:12 was so heavily changed, it wa absolutely horrible in the original, especially if you wanted to get the star on it

This game is cool and all, but to make it more worth the price, they should have remade the original Donkey Kong game for GameBoy and brought in a level editor. That would be really neat. Maybe I am asking for too much. They did make 2 more worlds for this game and that is really cool.

The intro to the game makes me believe Nintendo can make a great buddy cop like show with Mario and Donkey Kong interactions

The reason they cut out the voice for Mario opening the door was that it might get repetitive for some and the GBA just wanted to show how it can have voice acting in it.

I was very excited for the remake but I feel like it took away some of that "magic" :c

It's helps in 0:29, since it's transitioned to the next section of the level.

The subtle difference between the two is the money you paid 20 years ago for this game was a darker shade of green.

I was considering making a comparison video but you seem to have done a great job already. I'm not a fan of the changes to the bob-ombs. The sounds and the "BOMB!" text were removed.

There is a changed detail when Mario goes through the door. In the GBA version, Mario goes through the door with the key in his hands, but in the switch version, the key disappears before Mario goes through the door.

Kind of feels like the soul was taken out of the remake.

Some differences in the ending - The Mini Marios congratulate Mario in the Switch version - In the GBA version, DK is crying. But in the Switch version, he’s just very angry - Mario scolds DK in Italian in the GBA version. But in the Switch version, he feels bad for him - In the GBA version, DK is shocked when given the Mini Mario. But in the Switch version, he just immediately turns happy - In the GBA version, it’s daytime. But in the Switch version, it’s a sunset - In the Switch version, there are fireworks at the very end - The following quotes are forgotten in the switch version: ”Scolding in Italian” “Don’t Cry” “You Like? It’s a Mini Mario!” “Monkey Man!”
  • can you please ban that chrank guy whos been replying to all comments in the previous videos? he's been nothing but toxic, yelling at everyone, and invalidating all their opinions. It's insane, and such toxicity should not be allowed.
