I agree with pretty much everything you said about Happy Place, but what was most irritating to me was the manipulation, not just by the two main characters, but mostly by their friends, in ways I won't explain so I don't spoil anyone. This is a friend group that is supposed to be really, really close, and it doesn't seem that way at all.

what were the 3 Emily Henry books that you liked? i am in a fix with Happy Place as I loved People we meet on Vacation. Beach Read is just ok for me.

New subbbie! I absolutely love this video. Ive been done w riley sager for awhile i felt like he was insulting my intelligence w the writing and execution of the plot which was always poor note to self take. The kelce brothers book recommendations w a grain of salt.
