Do you think we can survive without having a single rupee? @willpalmeer and I take on the no money challenge in the vibrant streets of India! We try to go around for one day in the busy streets of Amritsar, just trying to depend on the incredible hospitality and kindness of the locals. This day was surely filled with a rollercoaster of emotions, unexpected encounters, and the ultimate test of resourcefulness, as we navigate the bustling cities with absolutely ZERO funds. We also went back to the Golden Temple at night to see if we can stay there for the night.

You can survive more than 24 hrs without money in #India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ Hospitality is above and beyond! We have been here for almost 2 months around the northeast, and still feeling deeply the love of India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป โ€œAtithi Devo Bhavaโ€ which means the guest is treated as

I wish Indian people help other Indians the way they help foreigners... ๐Ÿ˜Š

26:06 So what's happening here is that you gave a donation for prasad (the halwa you're eating). You are given half back and it is then considered blessed. Some folks don't even have enough for the prasad so its given out for free for those in need, just like the langar (communal meal). - I appreciate how respectful and genuine your questions are about sikh culture.
  • 1:40 I'm again saying India is not for beginners๐Ÿ˜‚ that scooty guy was confidently showing policeman to harry and the big thing is he didn't even wear a helmet

25:45 this ritual (or you can say this thing) what we do is we take degh (sweet pudding) from that counter we pray and then give it to those guys standing there, they take it and mix it for the congregation so that its distributed amongst all. Later they give half of that degh to eat. Its a way to contribute in Godโ€™s Prasad.

I am an Indian but still haven't visited to Amritsar. Thank you harry for such a wonderful vlog. U are a very kind hearted person โฃ๏ธ
  • Those Men in Blue are Nihang Sikh, that means they are the Soldiers of Sikh Army. They are continuing the tradition of Khalsa Fauj which was formed to fight invaders. Huge respect for them in entire country.

This is the first time I am watching your vlog and absolutely loving it. I am living in Canada from past 8 years but miss India desperately. I have been to Amritsar and your video brought back all the fond memories that am literally in tears now. While living in India, a lot of people donโ€™t value the living there and run after western countries. But, the fact is, there is no place in the world like India where life is so beautiful that just simple living is also very satisfying

It does confirm what i've experienced in my country Portugal, doing business with Indians. I was a wood supplier to their restaurants, and they were always nice, made a tea or gave me a pepsi or something, and always paid on time. Very nice, enduring and hard working people, puts some europeans to shame. I hope to one day visit either India or Pakistan, or both. I wish their countries to be wealthy and healthy.๐Ÿ’ช
