I know Chris he sang at my Dad's funeral one of greatest people to walk this earth

I married that man he's singing about. He don't ride horses but he could track a submarine in a big old ocean. That was 30 years ago but I got no doubt he could still do it. He takes care of us all. He's been an RN for over 20 years. He held my daddy's hand and told him that he had the watch so he could go to wherever he was seeing when he died. He's a real man and he's been mine for 44 years.
  • A full grown MAN has no problem being gentle. Chris was a strong, secure man, and a true "COWBOY POET".

You know, Chris LeDoux was the Real deal…a true ol cowboy, in a mostly superficial world of people who would like to be what he was. I don’t get tired of his songs. If I recall correctly, he died at 56 years. I really regret not getting to see him in person.

Sure do miss Chris.. I remember hearing him sing behind buckin Pro Rodeos. Always polite.. He came to Emporia Kansas, Mark and the band. Chris came in for like 15 min looked around and grinned "sure have played in a lot of these. I'll always give em thanks. Good ole town here" it was on a Wednesday, He left and slept on the bus and rest the band stuck around.. Chris was a pure gentleman.. He is missed. Love hearing his son sing..

Just discovered Chris and his music in 2024. Thank you Yellowstone. No surprise that Garth Brooks wore that tape out.

There's a reason why I love this song. Chris performed this song for a reason. God: I ask you to guide me. Help me find a destiny.

I was not able to see Chris in concert but went to Wyoming back in 2016. Stopped in Kaycee to visit the memorial. Stopped in the rusty spur and was able to meet his son Will. What an awesome experience.
  • I miss this icon so much I remember in the mid 70’s going to rodeo’s and listening to his songs over and over again . May you still singing and smiling in heaven RIP
