In Oklahoma softball's final game ever at historic Marita Hynes Field, the Sooners rallied in the seventh and won in the ninth against Clemson in a thrilling super regional game to clinch a spot in the 2023 Women's College World Series. With the victory, OU established an NCAA DI record with 48 straight wins.

OU probably ended with the greatest team ever assembled. They went on undefeated through the WCWS, extended their all time winning streak, and won their 3rd WCWS in a row. We wonder why the Sooners are so dominant in this sport? I seen a comment here from a 5th grade girl, “ I want to play there when I’m in college.” That says it all. These young girls see these great OU players, and great OU teams, and they dream of being a part of it. Be the absolute best, and you can.

I’ve played softball since I was 9 years old (I’m 56 now) and I’d like to know WHEN did they change that the pitcher can start with only ONE foot on the mound? When I played, BOTH FEET had to be touching the pitcher’s mound. It just looks so wrong.
