I love their friendship, the first thing Mariner did coming back into the Cerritos was hugging her bestie. So cute. :D

I think that the overall theme of Season 3 was that Mariner has grown and matured, but nobody else realizes it until it's too late.

Hot take: I really hope Mariner and Jennifer never get back together. Beckett BEGGED Jennifer to actually believed her and she ripped Beckett apart in the cruelest way possible. Forgiving her? Sure. But that kind of betrayal salts the soil.

Those three are her only real friends on the crew. Even after Freeman *specifically* ordered the whole crew not to talk to Mariner, those three immediately went and talked to her. Everyone else turned their backs. They still have some groveling to do if they want to be forgiven. Two people who shouldn't be forgiven, though, are Freeman and Jennifer. Freeman transferred Becket to Starbase 80 just for supposedly making her look bad to a reporter. That's not just vindictive, it's retaliatory, and she needs to take a good long break before being in charge of a crew again. As for Jennifer, she wouldn't even talk to Becket before the captain ordered everyone not to. She had zero faith in her own girlfriend. She and Becket shouldn't get back together.

In the scene Jennifer haven't come and apology to Mariner but maybe because she's feeling guilty and very ashame of herself for what she had said to her in the last episod but maybe next year in Season 4 Jennifer will try to make amend with Mariner somehow.

i saw jennifer looking at Mariner as she passed by her without even looking at her. hope in the fourth season, they get a chance to talk, considering their last talk.

Personally, I am seriously shipping Beckett and Brad. Hopefully the last season ends on something like these two being the Captain and First Officer of their own ship.
