  • Previews for Lorelei and the Laser Eyes dropped right after the Indie World and they were EXTREMELY positive, it doesn't look like a horror game, just a puzzle game with a weird vibe.

You two are the only reactions that I watch in full, and not just the parts I want to see reacted to.

I'm glad you are happy with this indie world as I am. The live chat was a nightmare, very negative. It was a really good showcase, so many games I'm waiting for.

Glad to know I wasn't the only one who thought of Stray when they saw Little Kitty, Big City. That said, from what I can gleam, the two games offer different kinds of experiences, not to mention you can actually hear the cat's thoughts as if it were a person in the latter game, which is cute. Apparently "Yars Rising" is connected to an old Atari 2600 game called "Yars' Revenge", hence why Atari is associated with this new WayForward game. So strange... ANTONBLAST was my favorite part of the Showcase, especially since we finally got a release date for the game! It and Pizza Tower are keeping the Wario Land flame alive, and I would LOVE to see more indie developers make more games inspired by the Wario Land series (and not just Wario Land 4, either)! Also, I can safely say that ANTONBLAST will, in fact, beat Pizza Tower to the Nintendo Switch, since the developers of that game (which consists of 2 people, 5 if you count the composers) have shown little to no interest in porting Pizza Tower to consoles, instead being more focused on adding content to their game and looking into making more games. Really wish they'd reconsider, though. Incidentally, part of me knew it wasn't the case, but when they said "Pizza's here" at the end of that TMNT Splintered Fate game, I had a mini heart attack thinking it was a lead-in to Pizza Tower. I never played Cat Quest before, but the trailer for Cat Quest III made me want to play them. Admittedly, I'm mostly interested in Cat Quest III because of the pirate theming in that game, but still, Steam reviews for these games are overwhelmingly positive, so perhaps I should give them all a try. BZZZT looks like a fun game, and SCHiM has that neat shadow-jumping mechanic. Duck Detective rocks, BTW, those clips in that sizzle reel don't do it justice, you need to watch a proper trailer for that game! Ending on Steamworld Heist II is a good choice, the Steamworld franchise is so incredibly varied and the first Heist game was a lot of fun. The pirate theming for this game has me really excited (I really like pirates, in case you couldn't tell).

I have my personal wish list, but I don’t really go into any Direct these days expecting every single thing to cater to me. Even a handful of things that look interesting to me is a good success rate. Some might call this too much leeway or low expectations, but to me it’s being able to accept the games for what they are, especially in an Indie World where people worked pretty hard on these small projects that are personal to them.

Sticky Business, stich., SCHiM, Steamworld Heist II, BZZZT and Antonblast were all new games I discovered in this direct that I'm now interested in getting. Really fun
  • Just finished the demo for Europa - starts a little slow but then I was loving gliding around and exploring - and a stunning end scene! Gameplay reminds me of Journey. Loved the soundtrack too!

I'm with Kit and Krysta, I thought this was a great Indie World showcase. I'm interested in at least half of the games and some are definite must-buys. Steamworld Heist 2 was my favorite. I just love that series so much. Europa looks great. Stitch reminds me of one of the daily puzzles that I really enjoyed in the Professor Layton games. And I am intrigued by Lorelei and the Laser Eyes.
  • @NOMAD-_-
I wish silk song they had a pc trailer a little while ago but the switch stuff has been quiet for some time
  • @CaptainWolffi
I'm most excited about Cat Quest III, Little Kitty and Duck Detective 😁
  • Really looking forward to the new Turtle's game and Cat Quest 3. Gotta have Cat Quest 😸😸😸
  • @PaulCosmicTitan
I’m interested in most of the Indie games that was announced, like Stitch and Yars Rising. The cat game and the sticker game looked interesting too. And maybe a few others that I’m forgetting the titles to. All and all it was a good showcase today. 😄
