How to Laser Engrave, Laser Cut & Paint in LASERGRBL using my ORTUR LM2 PRO. I’m doing up some Halloween earrings while the paint on some bigger signs are drying. The files have been uploaded to the “ Subscribers Only” Facebook page! Details are in this video as well.

I’m designing in Sign Master for todays video. I usually design in Corel Draw 9 /12 or ADOBE FRESCO. I use Gimp for photo editing and I’m playing in Inkscape at the moment to be able to help people with that. Inkscape isnt a bad little free program to add text to your Images. But, you will find yourself limited over time. It’s resolution settings aren’t the best and it’s slow to Export. 🤷♀️

In todays Video I’m discussing how to Engrave & Cut all with and within 1 file! LASERGRBL 9.4 version has some great additions! Plus I’ve had a few subscribers ask for where to go to get free files. So, I’ve shared my top choices here as well. 😃🥳🎉
My Settings:
Engraving - 1900 -2300 mm/min 5% min, 85% max DYNAMIC POWER
Cutting- 300 mm/min speed, 85% power min & max , 4 passes on CONSTANT POWER with my LU2-4 20 watt laser. (5.5 watt output) I’m able to get such clean and crisp engraving & cutting.
I have the New ORTUR 10 watt output LASER coming and I’m currently working at expanding my machine and building the ultimate trolley for it! 😍 Buttttt! I discovered I ordered the wrong expansion kit for my ORTUR LM 2Pro. I have series 1 which is a bigger plug in ! 😳 ORTUR has already shipped the proper cords out , so the proper cords along with my new Laser and my 🎉free Rotary Engraver🎉 I earned by collecting points ..(to be able to engrave cylindrical objects ) should be arriving soon! ORTUR & It’s support services team IS THE BEST! ❤️

Thanks for the flood fill trick. I use 4x4" wood coasters to cut ornaments. I make them in Inkscape and turn it 45 degrees. That puts the hanger hole is in the corner and you can make the real ornament a little bigger.

Thank you I knew I was missing something! I literally had two programs open at once with the cut file loaded and would just disconnect, switch over after it was done engraving and start it manually! 😂

good day ,i think i made a change to a setting when loading image ,the final image jst beforr printing is not clear all i see are lines widely spaced but not the loaded image

This did NOT work for me. I have the updated version of LaserGRBL v6.2.2 I have followed the instructions exactly and the pieces don't go away when I amend the file. Please, some help me.

where did you find 9.4 lasergrbl mine says 6.2 is the up to date
