  • On top of the Zora Armor making swimming a breeze, the sentimental value also makes it VERY favorable since Mipha painstakingly made it herself as a way of proposing to Link
  • @omniultimate
fun fact about the rubber set bonus. you can still be damaged by Naboris's Lightning during the sand seal chase, despite being unshockable.

I love switching between sets for the appropriate situation. Each Armor has a specific function. It works and I love all of them. The ones that i need to collect are the DLC ones. Just got DLC, and I'm treasure hunting, also found the ancient horse armor and I love summoning it when I'm in my adventures.

Stealth, climbing, swimming, ancient, rubber and flame, those are the key imo. I actually use stealth the most as it makes collecting skittish animals on the fly a breeze, and sneacking up on mobs gives a real advantage early on.

My personal favorite is the barbarian set, it’s literally the only way I can kill lynels
  • @josepha9306
What’s funny is that you can just use the thunder helm to be immune to any lighting storms, swords, and arrows instead of having to get the rubber set.
  • I hope we get an armor in tears of the kingdom that boost's your running speed and when upgraded it lowers the stamina consumption. One of the things of that armor would be that the feet are bare and highly focused on for front foot

One thing that I have to mention is that bone atk up is actually for not just literal bones from your enemies, but any weapon that has bones. So dragonbone moblin club is 45 damage +80% is 81 then if you use an attack up food you get another +50% at level 3 attack so that's 40.5, idk how the game rounds things but let's just say it's 41. That's 122 damage per hit people! Don't sleep on this buff, because that was assuming the weapon doesn't have an attack up modifier on its own, assuming it really is just 45 damage and goes through that calculation, that's something like 488 damage per flurry rush. Also, if you want to put that stealth to good use, do a sneakstrike sneakstrikes are your weapons damage times 9 which means that a sneakstrike is a CRAZY 1098 damage per hit! This one shots a lot of enemies in the game and it's a great combination, that's what's so interesting to me about breath of the wild buffs and just stats. Edit: if it doesn't round to 41 but rather 40 then it's still a 1,089 damage per hit, so either way it's really good.

I mostly use Ancient set because I farm major test shrines for the Battle Axe++. However, Knowing how much damage you do per hit with the champion's tunic is useful for drawn out fights like lynels :)
  • Phantom Ganon set boosts attack on bone weapons such as dragon bone Moblin club. Not just the arm limbs you get from stal enemies.
  • I used the Royal Guard set and Stealth set a lot ~ 🌙💜🌙
  • @samfisher5056
The rito's set, zora set and the barbarian set were my favorites
  • Climbing gear is my favorite at the beginning. Then the tunic of the wild and barbarian.
  • My favorite is Gerudo Voe. I was hoping to see it on here but I found out people usually use food for heat resistance. Actually the only food I use is hearty, enduring & mighty. I was thinking I should use tough more... But for clothes, I mainly wear the Gerudo outfit & then only wear what I need. So the only others I carry are flamebreaker, snowquill, zora & gerudo vai. I was wondering if I should try Sheikah more but I seem to be in the minority & I feel kinda odd about it
  • @thomasohare
Ancient armour is by FAR the best armor. Good base stats and damage boost with ancient/guardian weapons and when fighting guardians its even better
  • The Fierce Deity set and the Dark Link set are also the best.
  • I just got a switch earlier this year. I just got the wild tunic after defeating all shrines. Only two things remain. Get my own house and fight Gannon. But first I'm going to track down dragons to max out the wild armor
