Consistent Jake Content has been fun. 🤘🏽
  • Definitely would listen in for a full Deadpool/ Wolverine dedicated video!
  • Give us the Deadpool deep dive while sporting a Wolverine hairdo, my dude.
  • Console gamers aren’t used to paying 500 dollars on top of their initial investment, I don’t think the psvr2 was overpriced based on its specs and overall quality, if anything it was pretty cheap compared to more expensive, older and less high end headsets like the index, but the original psvr was closer to a 300 dollar price point and did pretty well sales-wise. I think if this price cut becomes permanent the psvr2 could become a hit, gt7 in vr is one of my most played games in the past year and it’s honestly one of the best vr experiences I’ve ever had despite it being a “hybrid” game, designed for tvs primarily and vr secondary. Many other hybrid games like re4 have some pretty big compromises and I’d argue are better played first outside of vr but gt7 I can’t imagine ever going back to playing it on a tv.

I love VR and I hope this will give Sony the opportunity to experiment more with first party studios. The other day I imagined a VR-port of Shadow of the Colossus. Imagine getting to climb those 16 beasts in those beautiful landscapes, all the while being terrified of falling or getting smacked by said beasts 😭 A man can dream
  • We most certainly need a Deadpool & Wolverine video! Love when you cover Marvel/DC movies because I know you’re similar to me in being a big consumer of not just the movies but the comic books!
  • It's amazing how social media has the power to make or break games before it even comes out. That's some scary power
  • I bought a PSVR2 when the sale hit, it gets here on Sunday, my first ever VR headset.

PlayStation execs are mad stupid if they are surprised by the adoption of PSVR2 with the price decrease. Literally everyone online said the price was ridiculous relative to the console and other VR competition.

Thanks Jake... Look forward to the full review of Outlaws. I'm holding out hope!

C'mon Jake, let's talk Deadpool & Wolverine. Pizza's on me
  • I always felt like these were the types of game where you play while listening/watching something else in the background. I like these every once in a while; Watch Dogs, Far Cry, Assassin's Creed, etc. I think it even applies to stuff like Borderlands or Diablo or Monster Hunter. Its not doing anything revolutionary, theres mechanics youve seen a dozen times before, but hey its got a Star Wars skin. People just need to chill with stuff thats probably like a 7 or 8/10. I had fun with Far Cry 6 and AC Syndicate and Watch Dogs 2. I really just have an issue with the price, but most games go on sale after a couple months. Even my GOTY Infinite Wealth was half off like 3 weeks ago, which was a STEAL for how much big and how much variety was in the game!
  • I got psvr2 last week as its on offer for £330 and so far im really enjoying it, especially Saints and Sinners, BUT man I am getting so sick and need to get my vr legs 😂😭

I greatly appreciate you giving it a fair "review" with the good and the bad instead of having a knee-jerk reaction like most other channels just looking for easy clicks.
  • @JeffJohnson
1 - Yes I think we would like a Deadpool & Wolverine review from you 2 - Does it bother anybody else that Ubisoft charges crazy amount for an "Ultimate Edition" only to go on sale a few months later? This is why I hesitate buying Ubisoft games right away, because I know that I can get it cheaper if I just wait a few months.

Jake, I appreciate your honest, informed, personal take on games - always with an eye to “is it fun to play?” Because at the end of the day, games should be fun! I’m excited to play Outlaws. It looks super cool - and a “turn off your brain running gunning game” set in the Star Wars universe sounds like just the thing.
