The fact that our Guy is still about in 2021 is nothing short of pot luck. Outlived the best of em, outrode the best of em, I hope to see him at 90, tinkering about in his garage. Something tells me I will. A living legend.

Never watched TT racing in my life, no idea why this was in my recommended, but I watched all 18 minutes of it and I'm glad I did.

I don't think he makes it clear just how fast that lap actually was but that's Guy Martin for you. Always been a big fan. Real salt of the earth kind of guy.

Guy, in my opinion, you are an absolute prime example of a real motorcycle racer. My great-granduncle rode the tt in the sidecar in 1961 and came fourth. But he was also a real motorcycle racer made of old wood. I have the greatest respect for anyone who dares to race. I don't have the courage.

I had the pleasure of meeting GM at a bike meet in York, he is indeed very cool. He was doing the rounds and chatting with the lads, I pulled out my thermos flask and his little face lit up, "what's in that"? Yorkshire tee, he was as giddy as anything when I poured him a brew. Great man.
