Forget rockstars this bloke is one of the coolest people alive today.

"I'm quite happy to full throttle the 600 and let it move about below me and just hang on for dear life here" the balls on this fella.
  • @rosstee
They each start 10 seconds apart, and he overtook two people on the same class of bike in a single lap... huge respect.
  • Going by how fast he talks, the world must be in slow motion for guy martin. The level of concentration he must have during these races would be transcendent

The isle of man tt is a hell of a way to "get used to a bike".
  • @hermand
Always loved how understated Martin is - just pure pure skill. No celeb bullshit, no dramas - just all out skill, passion, dedication and hard work
  • The fact that our Guy is still about in 2021 is nothing short of pot luck. Outlived the best of em, outrode the best of em, I hope to see him at 90, tinkering about in his garage. Something tells me I will. A living legend.

"its only a 600 so it only does about 140 150" through villages lol

Never watched TT racing in my life, no idea why this was in my recommended, but I watched all 18 minutes of it and I'm glad I did.

I don't think he makes it clear just how fast that lap actually was but that's Guy Martin for you. Always been a big fan. Real salt of the earth kind of guy.

Guy, in my opinion, you are an absolute prime example of a real motorcycle racer. My great-granduncle rode the tt in the sidecar in 1961 and came fourth. But he was also a real motorcycle racer made of old wood. I have the greatest respect for anyone who dares to race. I don't have the courage.

He ran over his own foot and lost a bit of confidence.....momentarily

There is no greater sport than TT road racing. It’s the epitome of skill, commitment, and bravery. Nothing even comes close. And Guy Martin is one of the greatest. He brings so much personality to everything he’s involved in.

The only man not just to approach death, but overtake it on a bend!
  • @xtc31
Guy... "theres my mate holding up a sign for me" Me.."What sign"
  • @MrKydaman
He talks so casually about doing something that is off the charts thrilling.

Guy Martin is an absolute legend. One of the worlds most unique characters. He has so much talent in so many fields that its is mind baffling. And to be so humble about it all, only make him even more likeable. Awesome man

I had the pleasure of meeting GM at a bike meet in York, he is indeed very cool. He was doing the rounds and chatting with the lads, I pulled out my thermos flask and his little face lit up, "what's in that"? Yorkshire tee, he was as giddy as anything when I poured him a brew. Great man.

‘Coming up to me pitboard now , couldn’t see the time but he has his hand up in the air so I must be doing alright’😂😂😂😂
