What a strange coincidence - going through my books today I was overjoyed to stumble upon How to Draw Cartoon Animals, by...Christopher Hart ! That is the best drawing book I have ever owned. I think it should be every art teacher's basic textbook, because any beginner can instantly get fantastic results using that method, and beginners who get early good results are much more likely to get hooked on drawing. Thank God for Christopher H(art) ❤️ !

Your videos help one of my daughters with her art assignments. Even for students who are not art majors in middle school/high school, like my daugter, you'd be surprised how often they are asked to draw. All my kids have to take Art - all students do in the School district in which I live. That's a great thing! Especially in light of the fact that Art classes are being cut from hundreds of schools nationwide. My kids have to call on drawing skills for other subjects outside of Art like Geography, Language Arts, Science where they are asked to draw various things from time to time. Thanks for this!

  • @CoryTheSimmons
Love that you just do this with simple paper/pencil/eraser extension. Perfect.

4:49 “don’t you just hate him”... wooah well dam, no chill lol
  • I love your characters! I have been drawing since I could hold a pencil and made many cartoons in my day. This reminds me of a lot of my younger work but of course, your work is much more refined. The work I do on my YouTube channel is much different but I think it would be fun to bring some cartooning back into my realm. Thanks for showing your work!

Your are THE MASTER! I have three of your books and have drawn most of the characters using Procreate. Love 'em!

This one was fun. I did it twice, once with the tutorial and once again just looking at my own drawing. It was interesting to see the differences between the two.
  • I just came across your youtube channel and I loved how you taught how to draw him and characters similar! Thank you!!!
