I love your room! And I love your attitude about guests, your house etc. We turned our dining room into my husbands man cave and we are getting ready to re-do our living room so he can set up his treadmill, bike trainer and stationary bike. He is the only one that uses the living room! Thats an extension of his man cave! You go girl. Love your fabric collection too!

Wow!!! Iam so inspired to redo my sewing room. You have so much fabric. Thank you for the tour. I now feel like I can buy more fabric just because. Time to enjoy this amazing craft without crazy guilt. Amazing.

What a wonderful setup you have! Its so nice that your hubby can customize your furniture to your needs, and that he shares a craft with you. I don't know how you have the time to do all the things you showed us, but I love them all. No apologies needed for filming. A suggestion is to try a selfie stand for some of it , maybe?? Regardless, well done.
  • Such an awesome layout. It is like you have a little quit shop in your home.

I’m reorganizing now so you have helped me, only my space is smaller so I struggle. Have to find your bins. I want to see everything so yours being clear are great!
  • Love your upcycling of your doors. My old patio doors became a hot bed cover! I wasn't sewing at the time. My sewing room is an amalgamation of leftover thrift store furniture from home staging when I was renovating. Such a collection for fabrics, beautifully visible. I love my Rowenta steam generating iron. The Laura Star is too expensive for my tastes. I baste by quilts with fusible webbing strips on my design wall. The steam iron does a great job of both ironing the quilt and the batting (I do this first pinned using double pronged pins), and then I fuse half and half. No shifting, and the quilt is always perfectly basted for quilting.

Love your organizing solutions. I too have a glass window from half of a sliding glass door sitting on the top of an old kitchen table. Before I put it down I used a sharpie and drew lines across every 4” right on the table but since it is rubbing off now after many years I plan on taping a bit of pattern paper down first, drawing lines, then placing the glass on that. I have half of that surface covered with a cutting mat and can use the rest of the glass top for crafting, or even moving the cutting mat off and using the glass top for my grands to do their art projects. The other half of that sliding door is on the bottom half of a wall on my chicken coop so when weather or predator issues dictates they stay indoors they have a picture window.

Thanks for sharing. Love the organization of your quilting supplies. My dog used to sit by me as I restitched his squeaker back in his toy again and again.
