Origins series ?, YES I have to have them. Ever since I got back into this, I want it all to quote Queen.

Those look menacing. Def getting one. And they are fighting the Snakemen because the Horde defeated them and took Snake mountain, and King Grayskull defeated the Horde. So yes, Hordak owns King Hisss arse 😎

MOTU's answer to The Sentinels [Marvel's X-Men]. Horde Trooper Primes might herald the Arrival of Horde Prime.

I don't think I ever remember saying this hard prime trooper in the series. I mean I saw all those army of those that look similar but not sure if I ever seen this in the animated series or skeletors. Are those hover robots that are red

I get a Centurion (Battlestar Galactica) vibe. Nice...

Unpopular opinion I might have, but I cannot unsee the Star Wars Royal Guard inspiration in this MOTU figure - the ‘elite trooper’ status, the fully red armor, the red cape, ‘guarding’ the Horde Tower like the Royal Guards guarded Palpatine’s quarters on Death Star II. I mean you can’t make a MOTU Royal Guard crossover figure better than this one - if Mattel ever made a MOTU Star Wars crossover series this would be a perfect match, and a hit design which I am sure many would buy. I love MOTU and Star Wars both, they are two of my top 5 franchises (the only 5 that I collect from), but I have a strange allergy to crossovers; even as a kid, I never played with toys/figures from different franchises together, and never displayed them together. This is why I’ll be passing on this great set with alluring beautiful art & packaging display, which I absolutely love in Origins. What I need to see in terms of Horde Troopers in Origins is a light grey vintage coloring on a Horde Trooper, and I have hopes that it could become a reality in Origins one day. I am also most intrigued by the Horde Tower becoming a reality.
