Delicious in Dungeon is Studio Trigger's most recent anime project. They're the guys behind Kill la Kill, Darling in the Franxx (one of, anyway), SSSS.Gridman and Cyberpunk Edgerunners, among other things. Basically, "things that, no matter what you say about the writing quality, will look nice." Doesn't seem to have really taken off, though, at least based on a cursory glance and reactions to merch. I've also seen it negatively compared it to Frieren, but 99% of things suck compared to Frieren, so that's not quite fair.
