You can really see how RDJ's sense of humor built the MCU. His tempo, pace, and subject matter, it all became the gold standard of MCU jokes.

Fun Fact: Robert Downey Jr hide in the set snacks from when he was bored, the staff couldn't stop him from doing it so they let him keep the snacks... When he offer Bruce and captain the blueberries, it was because he was bored

"What does Fury want me to do, swallow it?" is still one of my favorite Bruce Banner lines of all time. I love Avengers 1's take on Banner as a sardonic, jaded person who's this odd mix of self-assured and self-loathing.

Despite how iconic and hilarious the scene at 10:53 is, I think this actually does a nice job at showing how much leader material Cap is made of. Despite only knowing Hulk for a little bit, he was able to learn the best way to communicate with him without making Hulk upset or enraged.

I actually prefer the jokes in this phase of marvel, the jokes are part of the film not constant and in your face. They're also subtle. So great
