I think this truck is gorgeous. Great color. Love the wheels and tires. The grill is especially attractive. Very truck-like. Very 50s. Pristine resto. Congratulations and thanks for preserving this very rare jewel.
  • This one has left me speechless and smiling at such a work of art, about 50 years ago old man neighbor had a two-wheel drive Studebaker about the same year it was a three speed and had three overdrive levers that came out of the dash, I think he road that truck for 60 years LOL

Perfect! Simple yet functional. Everything you need and nothing you don't. I love it. Congrats to the owner!

A REAL truck!!! Very nice 👍👍👍👍 restoration!!!! No firewall makes it easier to work on. Bring a stepladder!!
  • A great truck. Made like they were supposed to be made. Takes me back a long time ago.

Thank you for showing this. It is an absolutely beautiful piece of American History. From an iconic vehicle manufacturer that started out in buggies & such. The only 1 that was in business pre- internal combustion engine & survived into the 50's. I wish they were still around.
  • For years a guy I knew daily drove a two wheel drive '57 version of this truck with a column shift. No seat belts, no ac or heat, barely any brakes.

Gorgeous Restoration! Glad it was saved & preserved for future generations to view!
  • I own a 1957 3E11. I have the original invoice. It also was ordered with 19.5" wheels, auxiliary springs and RADIO! Alas, a PO sold the radio, probably for as much as he paid for the truck! Mine is 2-tone greens and has the chrome front bumper. My Commander engine is being rebuilt right now, and the condition of this one is my ultimate goal. This video will be very helpful. Thank you for posting it. Also, that truck is the ultimate C cab. Congratulations on owning it and keeping it original. Some of us have to preserve them. I've refused offers, knowing what the buyers would do to it. I told them if they wanted to put a SBC in something that originally didn't have one, do it to a Chevy!

What an awesome truck. I am a car lover and I have not seen something so special for a long time. Love the little details that set this truck apart. The way the doors were stamped to provide a grab handle, the door panel, which is also painted metal, no firewall so you can see the back side of the gauges... So cool. Tks a lot for sharing, this is a beautiful truck.

My neighbor when I was a kid had a Stude pickup it was a late 40’s before the E series he had an aluminum in bed truck camper so he could go fishing this was in the 70’s that truck was part of his estate after he passed. The new owner drove that truck into the 90’s until it was finally to difficult to repair and find parts. that truck was on the road for at least 50 years I’d like to see that today.
  • Man that's one cool looking truck! My dad owned a studebaker truck back in the 50s and owned jeeps from the army! After serving ww2 he love them on the farm.
  • I love old trucks, old Studebaker's even more!!! I had a 57 Studebaker truck back in the 80's that I made into a 4 wheel drive. I sat the truck on a 70's something Blazer frame and it was an awesome conversion!!
  • Beautiful time machine...so simple easy to manage, able to exercise your arms and legs. Growing up had the luxury to sit in, on my father's Studebaker, Dodge, or Chevy car. Those were the days when you drove a tank...not knowing anything about this cars was awesome! Years later i found out the beauty of the beasts...
