Foolio came through for his first-ever VladTV interview, where he spoke about being one of the most controversial artists out of Florida right now, and he also details how he grinded his way up to be one of the most talked about artists today. Foolio spoke about growing up in Jacksonville, losing his father and his best friend as a teen, and being shot himself at 15. Foolio went on to detail his start into rap, which he said he didn’t take seriously at first, and he added that things changed after he linked up with Zaytoven and dropped “Crooks,” which was his biggest song at the time. To hear more, including his beef with Yungeen Ace and tension with NBA YoungBoy, hit the full interview above.

I dig your interviews man but you really do come off kind of like a fed with some of your questions sometimes bruh lol.
  • The look of realization in Foolios eyes when vlad told him that his homies ain’t got shit to lose but he has everything to lose was touching.. this shit really is depressing
  • very good interview, thank you Vlad for giving good advice to my young brother ..I want to see him and so many others around for many years

I love how he tells his story, but he doesn't try to glorify it, or act super hard. He's just telling his story.
  • As a person about to be 60, you can just tell. I can tell that this kid is sensitive, smart, talented yet broken. I like his demeanor. I really wish him long life and prosperity. And God in his world more than anything else. 😊

I can see the maturity coming through with Foolio. He is being tugged between the streets and common sense. Vlad did a good Job trying to bring common sense and reason to the forefront of these guys thinking.

best thing i ever heard vlad say: "Okay we'll leave it at that"
  • Man this dude has been thru so much . He honestly has a better outlook on things than most other rappers . I really hope he stays out of trouble . I was blown away that he’s not a felon .

  • All Respect to foolio, you can see he wants to stop all this beef shit And you can truly see the pain in this eyes Man's been through a lot
  • I wish life was different for all of us... the pain and sadness, misery that comes with this street shit is bad. I wish the love we all have within us was stronger than the hate. We all have good in us, all of us. All of this anger stems from sadness and frustration/disappointment.. we gotta do better, we deserve better

Thank you VLAD! For teaching Foolio...I have a feeling that Foolio is tired of looking over his shoulder...no man should have to live that way! The honesty in his voice and real stories made me sad but at the same time, Vlad, it's our job as older heads to help squash unnecessary beef between our brothers & sisters! Thanks and much respect due!
