I’m not quite sure how I ended up here but now I have to go find a stick and start practicing.

Mike Shake in 2046: "I learned how to skip dimensions in 2 weeks"
  • Every time I sweep my kitchen, I usually spin the broom and today I was like, “You know what? How do I actually do this?” And now I’m here-
  • i swear this man's gonna be the most skilled human in the world one day.
  • Imagine his neighbors looking outside and being like wth is he doing and the half an hour later, they will be like damn he looks cool.
  • Can we take a moment to appreciate the level of editing? at 1:32, the nice and neat way of putting number 3 there and then masking himself over it. It's incredible. He also makes short, straight-to-the-point videos which are more entertaining than those who start with "hey guys its your boy" or some cringe
  • As someone who is reasonably experienced with this particular skill set, here's some advice 1. so at 1:30 you can see he is holding the stick very tightly but in actuality its better to practice only holding the staff with thumb and forefinger because the goal is to use the staffs momentum to propel, after a while you need almost no strength other than required to hold your hand up 2. always practice slow as hell, as slow as you can stand doing it. This lets you find any points in the skill you are practicing that lead to a dead end then you can find the appropriate alternative. 3. I think of staff skills as kind of a puzzle where you have to work out what the pieces are and how they work together, once you've done this it lets you have fun jamming out to atmospheric music very well. 4. Have fun, every once in a while listen to some music you like and practice your flow, you'll acclimatise to this very quickly and you'll realise why we love it
  • Nobody: Mike shake in 2025: learn how to levitave in 3 steps
  • nobody: Mike Shake in 2050: learning how to teleport in 24hrs.
  • We live in an era, where if you want to learn something, just look it up on your phone. These last few weeks me and my wife taught our shiba inu how to stay , lay down, sit, paw, stand up,get him use to staying in his kennel, we also taught him how to get over his seperation anxiety when were not home and how to get him comfortable around cutting his nails and washing him, how to purchase a car, how to shoot and edit youtube videos, how to get ripped and shredded and do a pull up, how to live on your own and get a good credit score, basic stuff. You know what I mean

3 years later this pops up on my recommendations. You've inspired me to start practicing

This is a channel that has a lot of potential
  • The talent he’s got which is the is best talent and a talent that most people struggle to attain is Determination Trust me don’t get into a fight with this guy coz he doesn’t know what losing is and you will probably tire yourself be he’s warmed up This man’s determination is an inspiration to me and his smile is what motivates me You earned yourself a subscriber but I doubt I’ll make a difference I’m here with you till end Mike Shake and I’m before you get big and after
  • Just got a staff, this video inspired me to pick up a broom a year ago and I finally got around to properly practicing the tricks you did in this video. I don't know how you make these videos look so easy in a handful of minutes when it really is a skill that takes hours and hours to learn.
  • Imagine being his neighbors and you just see him become Aang and then moonwalk away and finish it off with a backflip
  • Can we just take a second to appreciate the scenery around him? Besides that cool and informative video, keep it up!

Hey Three quick tips for anyone that wants to learn this at home after seeing: - mark the balance point of your staff with tape (will help with wandering as you spin, as well as really important if you want to take it further) - add a bit of weight to the ends of the staff (this helps you feel where the staff "wants to go" and makes you improve technique faster, you can use bicicle tubing or similar, tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAmPEXL2odI) - Mike spins the staff clockwise (from his perspective), leaving the harder figure-8-move (second trick) for his left hand. If you are right handed, learn it the other way around (or learn both with both hands, so you will be able to turn). Also: go out and try it. Spinning things is a great hobby and there is so many resources here on yt Cheers
