In this video the WS6 Trans Am I brought home is getting the ls1 and t56 removed finally. The goal for this car was to be able to part it out and get a free motor and transmission for the work. I am getting closer to that goal and in this video the ws6 trans am engine and transmission are coming out of the bottom. I will be honest here and say if I had the option I like to pull the motor from the top and not the bottom. If I had a 2 Post lift I may think differently. This can be done in a drive way with a few jack stands and an engine hoist or cherry picker. I don't go super in depth here but if you are looking to remove a 4th gen camaro firebird or trans am engine or transmission from the bottom this will serve as a good how to or guide to do so. Oh boy, looks like a whole lotta fun. I've been struggling with a fuel leak in a lexus myself while my Camaro gets a makeover.
