I've grown to appreciate Lesnar's UFC career. With only one MMA fight under his belt, he signed with the highest level of MMA competition UFC and debuted against their former heavyweight champion. In just a few fights defeated one of the greatest heavyweights ever Couture for the championship and defended it twice against Mir and the undefeated Carwin. Remember he began his MMA career at the age of 30 and jumped straight into the deep end

How Lesnar was able to stand up after 2 minutes of pure beating (where I thought it was over after 10 seconds), is truly insane!

the fact that brock managed to tank carwin's punches to the point that carwin got tired before brock got knocked out is absolutely incredible. can you imagine what is going through carwin's mind, a guy who could very easily knock out most people with one well placed punch, he pummelled lesnar for a solid minute, and then he stands up. thats some horror movie shit

Brock Lesnar is a once in a lifetime athlete. A WWE wrestler transitioning this smoothly into real world class fighting is under appreciated. Who knows what he could have been with an earlier beginning.

Man, Brock showed so much heart in this fight. He showed how tough he was. Most people couldn't take one hot from Shane. Let alone 50+ and still win the fight. Insane.

Very few fighters had this much of an impact in the UFC in such a short career like Brock. The guy brought electricity to every match.

Its amazing how Brock actually accomplished being a UFC heavy weight champion. Like no one comes over from WWE and does that. I give a lot of respect to Brock for that. He was making a shit load of money in WWE and wanted to test himself. Thats a bad dude.

Back when heavyweight was almost super heavyweight and the man who was really the first ever prime time needle mover of the ufc... props to ref to allow the match to continue and props for an insane comeback by Brock and also just after beating deathbed due to diverticulitis..inspiring match and era

What a lot of folks don't realize is that when Lesnar was on the ground, he was telling the ref, "I'm good, I'm good" which let the ref know he was still in it.

Shane hit him so often that he was tired and Brock took some really hard hits. It's insane that Brock could handle all of them so well. He can take so much.
