Had they not drafted Brock, Both Kyle and John would be elsewhere and the team would be rebuilding.

Drafting Trey Lance, such an extremely unexperienced QB, with three first round picks will always be a head scratcher.

They owe Purdy alot. So do his teammates. Great job young man

10:58 as an ISU fan, I was watching preseason Brock closely, and that was my favorite moment, watching his patented pump fake work at that level.

The 49ers would be up Sh*t Creek without the preverbial paddle without Brock.

Could’ve had jmar chase, Sewell, Slater,Surtain or parsons

No need to watch the video. Minus Brock Purdy, the 9ers would have a different HC and GM.
  • The 49ers couldn’t afford Rodgers or Cousins due to salary cap. Lynch would be gone & Kyle would have a hot seat while looking for a QB. The compensatory seventh round pick they got for losing Jimmy G was used on Brock Purdy! Now imagine if they had their 3 first round picks intact by not drafting Lance & it might’ve put them in position to make one more play & beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Trey Lance should not have been drafted in the first 2 rounds by any team that adhered a proven player grading system. IMHO some teams allow media to influence their drafting.
  • 49ers shouldn’t sign QBs. They should draft them in late rounds, develop them & trade them for higher draft picks in year 4 or 5.

Should have fired them all and the Yorks sell the team out of shame.

I feel like Kirk Cousins would’ve been our QB had Purdy not been drafted.

We would have brought in Brady.

It really doesn't matter because they did draft Purdy
  • Easy...we probably got an affordable stop gap QB for 2022 and 23 then possibly moved up in this years draft, again, selling the farm for three more years, to get one of this year's QBs.
