This is a horror short film about the Guest.

I recommend watching this short horror film in the dark, with the volume turned up and on the biggest screen you can find. Thats how horror films are meant to be viewed. Sweet dreams.

Respect to the camera man for risking his life for evidence

I love that when he first appeared the subtitles read "O.o"😂

the story is about her suicidal thoughts. she couldn't escape until it got to that point. the guest is (to me) what she believe those thoughts look like. it has the same ear thing as her because it basically is her. the guest wasn't evil really just misunderstood because of how she was struggling and suffering. when she got better the guest will get better. i actually watch this every year since it came out

I hate yet love the moment where "Guest" reveals itself to have had the same fate as the woman

The Guest gets close to Mary. Mary: "Stay away! I have a knife and I'm not afraid to stab myself!"

my guy looks absolutely hilarious and terrifying at the same time
  • The end of the film is quite comforting. The guest looks like a friend in that shot.

I just love that ending. I also rlly feel bad for The Guest since he only wanted a darn friend. 😢

Words can't describe the terror I felt when the objective and unnoticed camera started FOLLOWING her

I am not the biggest fan of "this represent this and that" in stories personally; i like to think that this short is about a creature that looks terrifying at first glance, but it not only doesnt want to hurt anybody, but also has enough empathy to feel sorry for the woman and show it lack a ear too as a way to tell her "i have been through this as well". Thats what i like to think anyway
