Most Motorcycles today come fully assembled. You can start them right in the crate. I know so because when I got my 2020 S1000rr just this past august, I started the bike while it was still in the crate after the mechanic opened it, and I didn’t pay any prep fee. I also seen the 2021 ZX10r in the crate, was fully assembled. Dealers will still try to charge you that prep fee though.

One thing I have to agree with butter, is the backyard homeboy mechanic. I’ve had a lot of dudes call me to pick up the slack and mess they’ve created trying to work on bikes or quads. I can’t stress enough when I tell you how many dudes DO NOT use a torque wrench and go by specs.
