Logging onto WoW now, feels like going to your old neighbourhood where you grew up, but nobody is there.
  • Recently, i discovered some friends i work with used to play WoW. We all swapped stories of nostalgia and the happiness the game brought to us. Together, we decided to boot up the game together and start playing again together. We now have our own guild with a regular dungeon schedule and it's incredible!

WoW is one of those games you can log on and relax listening to the ambience. Hunting the wild, fishing or mining for minerals, I always found some relief in the tunes while I was roaming the world on my own.
  • This is how I choose to move on from WoW, I will remember the good parts all those years ago, doing LAN:s with all my previous friends from school all summer, gearing, cozy vent talks with guildmemebers in the middle of the night. Everything that made this game great is remembered in these videos.
  • The music from vanilla wow, brings this longing of a simpler and fun time of my life, that i can't get back nowdays.. Damn it was fun back then. Could walk around the world during the nights just enjoying the views and listening to the music.

I'm impressed that that orc held his hands up for 2 hours!
  • Brings me back to those days. When I was young and naive. Lost, wandering the continents of a new world not realizing at the time the memories I was creating. Good times. Undead always and forever!

Incredible nostalgia. Undead rogue and orc shaman - Darksorrow EU PvP - late nights. I played rogue with an ud mage friend - he proceeded to go on raiding - nothing which I knew much of. I rather stayed in greens, looking for trouble in stranglethorn. That little adrenaline rush when fighting PvP and the enemies call their mates - no matter - I do what I do. Of course later more friends would start playing. Another close friend of mine had about the same ambitions as myself - hardcore PvP. Although I was a casual, PvP made something spark within. At one point we were all having x3 Undead rogues at 60 to then proceed into the dark portal. Although TBC could arguably be the best expansion in terms of progression & action - you may never get back those long days & nights in vanilla especially as a kid playing with your friends - an invaluable experience, the way we synced, sometimes clashed but worked together towards getting better. Friendship, experiences, intrigues, grief, fascination, melancholy in the world of warcraft.

i wonder how music can trigger the same emotion we felt years ago.. the barrens and stranglethorn vale bgm really hit me...
  • I love this. I remember waiting outside Gnomer and making a campfire waiting for friends to show up because there wasn't anyone around to help summon. Getting sapped and ganked waiting outside instances that just would not let you in (Molten Core and Scarlet Monastary). Being eaten by everything while trying to run through the Wetlands. It really was a magical time in Azeroth. I still play and when I eventually retire, I'll go for those some of those heartier acheivements, mounts and rep grinds I can't seem to finish. Maybe start a retirement home for all of us old WoW players to congregate and take solace in the eternal youth of our toons.

OMG THANK YOU! I've been playing WoW for almost 16 years now and Warcraft games close to 20 years. Love this franchise!

The music is the unsung hero of this game! The gameplay got outdated as time passed but the music is still art. I believe the music made WoW pleasant to play for hours on end
  • Such great music, such nostalgia. While many past friends have moved on, some are still around. I've come back to experience both classic and new, and it is still a lot of fun when I have the time. Adult life loves to get in the way lol. What's great is I have my family of 4 playing with me too, with the kids experiencing the wonder of classic just the way I did way back. It's really neat to relive the experience with them. There is joy to be had in the game still if you want to find it!
  • I'm not even a WoW player, but these WoW ambience videos always makes me relaxed.

Beautiful, just beautiful it is almost as I was sitting at the campfire feeling the warmth of the flames in my face and the cold breeze in my back. It is as these fellow orcs have gone trough a lot in their short lifes and at this moment it does not matter where they are from or what kind of personality they have. It is as the silence and the calm sound of the water and wind in the background are forming some kind of peace and joy. It is as the silence itself forms a bond between them and putting anger and violence aside.. I think that is a reason why people (like myself) enjoy playing games or going into the nature... What they have in common is that these things don't judge you like almost every situation or people do in this part of life where you got to be someone.. If you are reading this I want to say you are worth it and you matter! No soul on this world is meant to be put here and not enjoy life. It is only 1 time that you are here so don't be someone that somebody else is expecting you to be.. Like it was carved into stone in ancient Greece my message is: become who you are

Спасибо! Будто вернулся на много лет назад, в такие беззаботные времена...

All the comments feel sad. And I feel sad because I’m experiencing the same nostalgia. It’s almost been 20 years.
