I've found a weird method that works, I simply stare at my wall for 30 minutes with no distractions, which I guess makes my brain so bored it begs me to study, but it really works in improving my focus and attention span
  • @random_asf
TIPS 1. Dont read the textbook instead do practice questions or chapter summary. 2. Meditate (Let the cloud go) , Write your distraction PHYSICALLY on a paper while studying . 3. Run sprints not miles (Set goals in small tasks) 4. Stop giving a crap (become hyper obssessed instead of focusing on the bg noise)

waah, I'm early, just sending you love, my exams are in 24 days and this exam basically decides my entire life yet I can't study, I went from a topper to a loser tbh, ah I just feel like dying.
  • @IvanGarcia-cx5jm
An important thing not mentioned here is that momentum in studying and focus is important. Like starting to run. Itโ€™s slow and hard initially, but then itโ€™s easier and you get speed. Even if focus is not initially there, keep pushing until you are rolling. Also resting is important because energy is needed for this.
  • I can't believe how relatable and practical this video is. The focus strategies you shared are not only unique but also very doable. I've started applying them, and I can already see improvements. Thanks for putting so much effort into this!"

I had one of the hardest exam today I was so afraid and my preparation level was less than 50% and I was having anxiety for the last week for failing and I just couldn't help myself studying but just before 1 day of exam I said fuck this I didn't come here to regret or leave in fear and I gave it my all solving questions and revising all night and learning answers till I get to the center and enter my room and I tell you literally 80% of questions came from the questions set I did just the day before the moment I read the questions I thanked God I then myself that I did not give up. Conclusion: Do not give up until the end๐Ÿ˜œ just believe in yourself and you can do it.

Peace upon you all. The 'focus video' which was requested by many of you here on A-Team to help you focus while studying is finally here by Amy! Always remember that focus is something which is interconnected to the space where you're studying and your overall lifestyle; so make sure to keep your study space clean and without distractions. Plus, eat healthy, take a good night's sleep & exercise regularly! All these things add up to you studying with full focus! Even if you're someone who does find it helpful to read textbooks while studying, then you can also write brief points on the borders of salient paragraphs summarizing them so that when you're revising you can just look at those brief points jotted down by you! Like Amy mentioned, that our brains can remember little snippets of information more easily! And it'll be much more beneficial for you to read a chapter from textbook if you read it AFTER going through the syllabus & past paper questions related to that chapter, because then your brain will have certain "perspectives"or "angles" which it'll be using continuously to sift information that matters when studying that chapter/topic! This way, your brain will be more IMMERSED because it knows what to look for! Now that this focus video is out, make sure to help others to focus on studies as well by sharing this amazing video by them! There aren't much videos out there that teach you in just around 10 minutes the realistic ways to focus on the positive tasks that matter to you the most! Also, if any of you have questions related to academics, extracurriculars, US college admissions, productivity advice etc., feel free to ask me! You got it, A-Team! P.S. That editing effect that showed siphoning thoughts to put into pensieve was so unique and had me laughing! Sincerely, Human Human

Amyy!! What a thought out video, but I am not suprised because all your videos are outstanding!! I loved every tip you introduced in this video, including how you were talking about being hyper-obsessed with whatever youre doing, including not letting random, impulsive thoughts take over. It seems very important in training your mind to do the right things. I will make sure to try these tips you gave! Continue being the best, ๐Ÿ’–

Hi amy, I've started watching you since November. And started to implement things in my life. I've seen myself change for good and im grateful. I still do struggle with negative emotions. This phase of life of mine, makes me insecure of my future. I always feel not accomplished whatever i do. At the end of the day i feel sad. But yes, i have improved due to you. And i will continue to. My marks have not been increasing. (There's negative marking system here) but atleats learning has been easier. So thank you โค

๐Ÿ˜Š I love this, that actually what I've been practicing ( the don't read the text book part) but I view the most important concept from the text book before practising questions relating to the topic I'm reading. Thank you for that spreadsheet ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š
