Logitech Is LYING To Us.

The webcam industry is quite frankly embarrassing - they've been scamming us all for years. There's no reason for them to still be as bad as they are.

YouTube needs more shit like this man. There's not enough people out there just flat out calling companies on their bullshit and being firm in their opinions and beliefs. It's always pussy-footing around to not upset the powers that be. If MKBHD or Mckinnon posted a video of them flat out calling a company a bunch of bullshit scam artists I'd have a heart attack and fall over. It's always just watered down light insults when it should be all out because god forbid we scare away the advertiser money.

I love it when frank goes into rant mode. I think this is why you're still to this day after 5 or 6 years of me watching my number 1 most watched tech reviewer. I love that you're not just blindly loving every single piece of kit that comes through your studio and videos like this show that you genuinely care about us and that you don't want the average consumer to be fucked over by shady shit like this.

Blows my mind that in 2022, with high end cellphones having incredible cameras, webcams still look like trash except for a few exceptions. It does feel like companies just keep using the same old crappy sensor on every sub 200 webcam

Appreciate honest videos like this so much. I bought the Brio 4k back in 2020 and have been consistently disappointed in the image quality and the focus drifting in and out all the time, not to mention the colour shift, even when you try and use it manually. I'd argue that C922 looked sharper, albeit more contrasty with the black levels looking more crushed. I also thought that the images they showed of "bad" looking webcams looked a lot like the Brio image quality too. Yikes.

Would love to see a comparison between the Brio 4k which came out in 2017 and the Logitech StreamCam and Brio 500 who are supposed to be "newer and better"

Glad you're bringing light to this, I spent ages looking around for a good webcam but so many of them looked rubbish! In the end I resurrected my Canon 600D and used that as a webcam, just as good and cost me nothing!

You're the only Youtuber for the past 10 years to make every video interest me. Even videos on subjects I dont care about I watch them all the way through. You're honest, you make high quality content and even show a better recommendation at the end of the video. Quality my brother.

I have an OLD C720 webcam from them and I still love it for the price I paid years ago. Works just fine when I live streamed and over the years webcams in the $80-150 price range never really seem to be that good vs the older models.

This was spot on. Way to call them out. My company buys the C925e for our offices and for what they use it for it works, 1080 @30fps. Conference calls and Teams it's fine. We are still looking for a product to use when making presentations, live and recorded. Keep up the good work. Thank You.

I'm glad as a tech YouTuber you've taken the approach to stay neutral and honest over the years. You easily could've sold out and recommended this product for the sake of a check, but you decided to go the honest route and call out the big dogs on their BS. For anyone who's been following for a while. they KNOW you rave and leave glowing reviews about other products like the g502 mouse.
