The waiting rotating circles at 0:50 cosplaying the roundels are officially the most beautiful designer decision ever.

“It’s December 2017. It’s a year away. It’s coming.” November 2019: where’s my train?
-
Geoff vs evil Geoff. Crossrail vs Elizabeth line.
-
Yeah, as a train driver I've spent quite a lot of time in a similar kind of simulator. The graphics aren't quite as good as a modern gaming pc might be able to offer, but it's reasonably convincing so as to give you an idea of what it's like to drive the real thing.

I was lucky enough to meet Howard once, he was a very friendly man and took me for a ride in the cab one of the old class 315 trains from Liverpool Street to Forest Gate. I can't wait until Crossrail is completed!
-

F**k it, I’m calling it Geoff rail
-
Finally Geoff are qualified to drive the Crossrail 😍

I dont even live in london but I still like this channel

Watching this in 2021. I had to laugh, when Geoff says it is a year from opening. Hopefully it will opening in 2022.

The term you're looking for there is 'Simulation Sickness'. It's also experienced by users of VR (Oculus, HTC Vive etc.)
-
yet here we are in March 2020 and it's still months away from completion and ready for paying passengers

I was at the front of a Copenhagen metro today (dlr-style driverless) and stations with full platform-edge doors underground looked very much the same as this simulation. Excited for Crossrail!
-
Elizabeth Line Noooooo but Crossrail yaaaaaaaahhhhh

Train Simulator 2019 confirmed
-
Yay, Ilford was on the video but I must have missed you when you came down. :(
-
VERY GOOD AND REALISTIC LOOKING SIMULATOR! 🎉😶👏
-
Another great video from Geoff! Wow!
-
I've driven on one of those simulators, and it is weird, as it does feel like it is moving!
-
Hope this gets added to one of the stations
