Ah yes. THIS is what Dragon is fighting to stop.
-
Can we just talk about the music? Like every bad thing has a theme that boosts its importance... Last time i got THAT Kind of chills was almost 3-4 years ago with kaidos entrance in his dragonform

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Gorosei is always right.”
-
Freezer: destroys a planet cuz he is racist and also for fear of a legend Imu: Destroys an entire island cuz one person knew to much
-
The scariest implication is that the based on his reaction, the Navy spy had NO IDEA that the Gorosei are listening to him. Think about it... Imagine being a CIA spy and while hearing a conversation suddenly the US President comes in and says: STOP. LISTENING. FOR. YOUR. OWN. GOOD. It's fucking mortifying.
-
The marine being afraid always sell it for me and then that monstrous " You guys didnt eavedrop anyone"
-
The scarier implication here is that Imu considers knowledge of her(?) existance to be more of a threat to her power than knowledge of the void century. That knowledge only warrants a buster call, but anyone overhearing that Imu exists is grounds for literally erasing everyone and everything in the vicinity.

The more and more I think One Piece is set in a dystopia.

1:32 The way the music just abruptly cut gave me CHILLS bro
-
the fact that we never seen doflamigos eyes but we saw his whole body, it’s exactly the opposite with imu 😅
-
Scenes like that get a pass on slow pacing, this was a masterpiece, best scene in a long time
-
That hole in the ocean looks a lot like Enies Lobby, I wonder if it has some weird connection lol.
-
True silence is more horrifying, you know there's a monster in the woods with you when everything around you goes silent.
-
This was terrifying, like genuinely scary
-
This scene was so scary in the manga-- But when I saw it animated I was literally stunned into silence for the rest of the episode-- I couldn't even focus on the rest of it.
-
I have seen animes and series where planets, are destroyed yet I find the destruction of Lulusia far more threatening and scary
-
The payoff is coming. Vegapunk is about to expose their asses to the entire world
-
God… this scene was done so well in the anime!!

The snail responder's eyes says it all what Sabo has witnessed.
