Liz this is wonderful. Having a true friend is a blessing, I love her she is such a wonderful soul. For get the negativity, those once are an happy people, so they release their stresses on so social media to very innocent souls. Go go girl, you are already blessed with a friend just thank God for that.

Its good to have a Godly friend and she has connected you to a fellowship now you will make true and genuine friends.

Oooo Liz I feel so sorry for you because I can relate sooooo much to you. I am an South African living in the U.K for the past 16 years. I came here with my Welsh husband and young daughter 16 years ago due to my husbands work. I had such big dreams and came with an open mind. I had heard before I came that it was difficult to make friend with the english people and was easier to make friends with foreigners in the U K. I was determent not to limit myself to one group. I thought it would be easy to start chatting to the other mothers at my daughters primary school here. I am just like you very open friendly and chatty. Just like you I thought the liked me, calling me love etc. I would then also think they liked me, but the next day they would be in their click and ignore me. I was so hurt through the years. I dont think they understand our bubbly personalities. I joined the gym, i joined some puppy classes with our new puppy. But could never got a friendship going. In South Africa I had lots of friends and fammily, we would visit each others houses. But not here, i have invited people, but they do not come. So now 16 years later, I have my daughter and husband and my daughters boyfriend as friends. I really tried hard, but have given up. Very lonely at times. But am in daily contact with my family and friends in South Africa. I have realized that most of the english people are very reserved not very friendly and will always see you as a foreigner. I grew up on a farm, but it is as if they are not interested in your history or as if they do not believe you. I honestly hope you would never lose your bubbly, kind wonderful personality. I sometime feel I have lost some of my confidence and bubblyness. I think you and your husband are wonderful, kind, caring people. It is difficult living here, the weather does not make it any better. Stay as sweet as you are. I just think a lot of people here do not understand our tipe of kind caring personalities. Stay strong.
