For sam, before he was an avenger this was probably the coolest 5mins of his life.
  • Lmao “I’m here to pick up a fossil” 😂😂 what a roast from Nat
  • Imagine meeting a superhero at the gym and then a few years later you take his place. Sam’s life ain’t the weirdest in the MCU, but it certainly is up there lmao

Dr. Strange: (making portals) Falcon:Hey can you make a portal on Cap's left? Dr. Strange: Why left? Falcon: It has got to be on left

This sequence is perfect. The dialogue. The tiki and taka. Just the right amount of space between the lines. No filler.

With all the epic scenes in the MCU, this simple scene still remains my favorite out of all of them. The second would be the scene where Tony gave Cap back his shield in End Game.

The chemistry between Sam, Steve and Natasha was just so great.

Drax is actually in this scene. He's just so incredibly still.
  • Love how Natasha acknowledges Sam with Steve. She is trained in reading people and she knew the two vets just became friends. She aproached both of them..not just the one celebrity! Ah..the good ole days of actual writers. ❤❤❤

What’s so good about this scene is just how natural it feels. So many movies today don’t give characters breathing room and time to interact like normal people and it’s scenes like this that show why we need them.

1:20 For all the times I've seen this scene, it's only just occurred to me recently that Sam brought this up because he recognized why they were both awake so early. I had thought it was just a soldier-to-soldier thing that I wasn't getting.
  • Let me give a shout-out to an underappreciated detail in the movie: the way Black Widow looks at Sam. She is smiling just a little bit, memorizing his face (like a good spy would), giving the tiniest hint of a flirt to play with him ... And Sam responds with a wholesome and slightly interested nod.
  • I love the little camera trick at 0:36, Steve runs out of the shot but actually runs away to the left; the camera then pans around and we're actually seeing a double way in the distance.
  • I just realized at 0:36, after Steve runs past Sam, there was a cut that made Steve way farther ahead then he should’ve been just to emphasize how fast he is! Love these little details! Edit: guys I know there wasn’t a cut now, I was just being an idiot and was thinking with one braincell
