You say to start seeing quality. Patience pays off when collecting. I found a Dansk oval facette barware glass for $.85. I thought it would be nice in a bathroom and that I'd never find another. While thrifting yesterday a came across a pair in perfect condition. They were $1 each, but everything was 50% off. All told, $1.85 plus tax for the three. They were quality for a good value. I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks, Dr. Lori!❤

  • I love glass but I especially love crystal my love of crystal started when I found two Waterford glasses in the Marquis pattern when you looked inside the glass it looked like a lotus flower opening. I am not rich so of course these were on sale at $7and $10 dollars. I am now addicted to looking for something in every thrift store and I have quite the collection. But I love learning and I know that I could be shopping more intelligently. Thank you for sharing your experience just wanted to let you know I appreciate your knowledge and kindness to share it. May the Lord bless you as you continue to be a blessing to others. I am a Christian or a disciple of Christ Jesus so please don’t be offended by my words I say them because I want good things for you. ❤
