    The contrast of futuristic and historic buildings in Konya is cool. It reminds me a lot of cities like Beijing, where you can see 3000+ year old buildings and structures, then turn around and see a modern skyscraper.

    You missed Çatalhöyük, a very large Neolithic and Chalcolithic proto-city settlement in southern Anatolia, which existed from approximately 7100 BC to 5700 BC. It's south of Konya.
