  • George Harrison wasn't just a songwriter and musician, he also had a great sense of humour. He backed the Monty Python films. A true contribution to music and comedy. RIP George.
  • George is my favorite Beatle. He was also a good friend to Bob Dylan.
  • I didn't know George was backed the Mounty Python films which that is also Great by proving that George was , also , a guy with great sense of humour

I love George's 'Wonderwall' album and all his involvement with the Beatles.. Wonderwall was geniusly-done, and it stands the test of time... I can't imagine George hating on anyone, he wasn't a hater or judgey in my understanding.. He would rather focus on what he liked, what he cared about
  • What a beautifully narrated video with the perfect voice. I also loved the history of George and the Beatles that I found very informative especially how George's Mom used to listen to India Hindu music which George had an affection for. Peace always George Harrison, you will be remembered.

Paul was pushy but if not for him, the group would have fallen apart when Brian died. Lennon abdicated his leadership role in the group as he was distracted by drugs and someone else. Without Paul, Pepper wouldn't have happened. Then after that, Brian kicked the bucket and the entire dynamic changed. John and George both went slightly insane. In any event, their egos couldn't have accepted Paul in a leadership role. How Paul managed to get them to record 5 more albums is truly remarkable.
  • By his own admission, Harrison didn't have that many songs until later on. Tensions existed between Paul and all the other Beatles. Paul was a songwriting powerhouse, and even Lennon was jealous of his talent. There are tensions in every band, especially in one with so many talented members. However, hatred is probably too strong a word. The Beatles probably broke up at the right time. They left a brilliant body of work in the short time they were together, never becoming contrived or forced. None of them were yet thirty when they disbanded. Think about that. I wish John and George were still with us, but I think it would somehow diminish the magic if they were doing reunion tours and releasing substandard material. In the words of George Harrison, "All things must pass".

Who doesn’t have family, no matter, the art of songs will live on forever.. Here comes the sun do & doo doo…it’s all right, it’s just a part of my hart & sole & my guitar playing, the songs we played & sang they were there with us….still are All we need Love! My favorite Beatle was by far George Harrison. I was very shy and I thought he was as well.

Lennon and McCartney were two strong personalities. Difficult for George to deal with this in a small group and under the pressure of immense fame. Starr appeared to just keep going and not get too emotional about the group dynamics.
  • I think McCartney's tendancy to try and dominate the Beatles got up the noses of the other band members at some point but I don't think you can call it hatred, it's called bsnd politics.
  • @chrisbacos
Good video. Their feud was common in working relationships. At least they made peace before George made his transition
