In 2002, Yates was convicted of killing two women in Pierce County and sentenced to death, but it was commuted to life without parole after the Washington Supreme Court ruled capital punishment unconstitutional in 2018. He is currently serving life in prison at the Washington State Penitentiary.

Nobody opts to retire after 19 years from the army only one year from full pension. He was asked to retire for some reason. Probably for not making promotions on schedule if he didn't have a bad service record.

It makes me so f-ing mad they ALL beg and pled to save their own miserable lives and get deals to remove the death penalty from sentencing but take great pride in killing others. Stop making deals with these monsters they deserve NO mercy none.

Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! I could never understand why these murderers cry in court. They take lives and should know that there will be repercussions. I also noticed that most of them wear eyeglasses to court, even if they'd never worn glasses. Anyway, keep the uploads coming when time permits. I know that babies 👶 occupy a lot of time.

Yay! Another video! I live near Spokane (about 1&1/2 hours south. I did move to Spokane for almost a year in 1989. It’s a nice city. For the most part. I remember when this guy was out there, and when he was caught. Pretty creepy. Congratulations on your new baby. Is this your first child. My kids are all grown. My youngest (of 6) just got married earlier this month. Enjoy every moment with your sweet little one. It goes by so fast!

Thank God Yates was caught before the Iraq war extended his military career and got the chance to become a war hero. That would have made the army look bad when he was caught.
