League 97 (L97 for short) takes a traditionally offbeat build from League 5 (97/20/35) and standardizes it to be the only build allowed. From there, it incorporates (icon) deflation battling, a term used to describe a rule set that seeks to weaken the damage output in the dome. The chief goal of all these changes is to allow longer battles, the idea being that this is the best way to find out who was the better battler.
