Troy was way beyond it's time. The fighting, the blood, the acting. All of that's better than most modern movies.
-
I can watch Achilles fight for hours man, dude's smooth af.
-
Hector was such a sympathetic character. You can't help but root for him as the underdog.
-
Achilles massacring like 20+ guys so take the temple by himself is arguably one of the best scenes in a historical movie.
-
Hector vs Achilles is probably the best choreographed fight scene i have ever watched
-
been five years since the release of pt1, man, pt2 must be legendary
-
0:03 "imagine a king who fights his own battles, wouldn't that be a sight." Leonidas has entered the chat
-
Brad Pits was in top form in Troy, some of the finest sword work ive ever seen in a movie!!!!! Amazing choreography!!!
-
"Imagine a King who fights his own battles. Wouldn't that be a sight?" Brad Pitt really fit into this role in the movie like a fish to water.
-
You know considering he’s fighting a literal demigod Hector is doing pretty damn well
-
The Patriot is STILL one of my top favorites... the scene hit so hard, you're following the rush, and feel that righteous vengeance full-throttle until the very end when you start to feel the loss and anguish. Brilliant.
-
ive watch the achilles vs hector scene hundreds of times, whoever was in charge of the the choreography really did a good fcking job and needs to do more like this.
-
Hector's death was sad to be honest, Him, Maximus and Leonidas died like warriors
-
All the fighting scenes in Troy were absolutely spectacular. Achilles balance, reflex, technique and strength Gaddamit - what a warrior
-
4:53 is so good. He knows his armor and uses it to his advantage. Never seen that in a movie before. Blocking with his shin armor is a pretty amazing attention to detail. It doesn't just cut his leg off.
-
“Imagine a king that fights his own battles, wouldn’t that be a sight.” In your face king.
-
Hector knew he couldn't but still went Thats why he is remembered
-
I felt sad for Hector he was very noble n humble
-
"You won't have eyes tonight; you won't have ears or a tongue. You will wander the underworld blind, deaf, and dumb, and all the dead will know: This is Hector. The fool who thought he killed Achilles." 💀

Epic scenes. The Patriot one is one of my absolute favourites.
