Today we added a bluetooth stereo to a Ozark Trail Cooler. This cooler is very similar to the Yeti & Rtic Coolers. The cooler is all stock on the inside and can still be used as a cooler. This is how to make a stereo cooler! #bluetoothcooler #stereocooler #icechestradio

  • I sold a cooler at work a week ago, that I nearly fell over when I realized the price of it! It was about $197.00! I did a double take. I told the guy for that price it should have speakers in it like you were planning to do to this one! I saw your video where you tested the length of actual cooling in it. And then how you installed the drain plug. Neat to see it full circle now!
  • Im been meaning to try something like this for the longest. Your video has great details and infor on how to run everything with out cutting the whole thing open.
  • This is awesome. I don't know how you fit all of that in the lid but now I want to try lol.

Dig the video bud. Just bought this cooler for using on my paddleboards. Love your DIY. I subscribed!

Great amazing video . How tall was that hatch once you took out the foam material .? The fusion has low clearance so is good but I need to know from the cut you made to the bottom of hatch ? Thank you

Excellent work!!! What's the depth of the lid? Is it possible with these coolers (Ozark) to install everything in the front of the cooler? I'm thinking of doing with with the Kicker PX series amp with BT built in. Suggestions??

I have used a pyle amp in other builds. I put it in a enclosed case and it overheated pretty fast and burnt up. Since then, I have added a little 3 inch PC fan in the wall of the cooler to vent the hot air. How do you prevent this one from overheating? Has anyone enclosed this style amp and had it not overheat?

I am building one of these soon, but I’m doing it a bit different with 2 audio boss 6x9s. Would you still recommend this battery?
  • @MrSpanky473
Nice build. I did one a few years back in a igloo cube. They didn't have bluetooth built into the amplifiers back then.
  • @caseymoto
Do you think it sounds better with speakers facing upwards , I made some with speakers mounted vertically so the they can face me.. But wondering how the upward facing sounds, I wanna make another one
  • @josh1m6
How did you fit everything through the speaker cut outs?
  • @5454commander
How were you able to power the amp with the battery ? I have everything the same but how did you splice the wires from the amp to the battery ?

I ordered all the parts that you linked. I’m having trouble with the battery shorting out when I plug in the external charger. Any ideas what would be causing that? I followed the wiring diagram
  • @14truelies
Could you please show how exactly you got the battery to power the amp please? I’m very visual and trying to figure out how to connect power and ground to that Y off the battery. I’m assuming you have to cut the piece of the Y or could you wire in something that plugs into the Y connector?
  • @evan2290
Really like the build man, want to duplicate. Need help with one thing. I know the connector you listed connects the positive and negative from the amp to the male Y from the battery, but how does the blue from the switch connect to that same Y from the battery. since the other one is for charging. I know it connects from your diagram...but it is never shown and I can't figure out how...please help! thank you.
