Redondo Beach Pier: Narrated Walking Tour

Published 2021-01-29
A guided walking tour of the Redondo Beach Pier in Redondo Beach California. The Redondo Beach Pier is the longest "endless" pier on the California coast and is quite popular for it's variety of seafood restaurants: particularly Mexican and Korean seafood. We'll walk through the main pier section, visit inside Quality Seafood Inc, and stroll by the bars and restaurants along the International Boardwalk.

TABLE OF CONTENTS:
00:00 - Redondo Beach Pier
18:40 - Quality Seafood Market
23:11 - International Boardwalk

  • Grew up just up the hill from the pier. I could easily walk to it from our house. I and my siblings have been going there since we were babies, and our parents and grandparents, and even one set of great grandparents, before us. Now the fifth generation of my family has been going there. Thanks for the show. I've walked this so many times.

WOW, i practically grew up on that beach. This pier used to be so nice, Tony's restaurant with the beautiful view while u eat and as i got older their strong drinks. There used to be a great pizza place upstairs with the best shrimp pizza.

Ironically enough, this is the perfect time to visit the Redondo Beach Pier; not crazy crowded and you could actually enjoy the scenery, and explore the shops and the restaurants without having to crawl over people. Great tour. 👍🏻

You forgot to mention this Pier ist famous for „The O.C.“. That was the main reason to put it on our list when me and my girlfriend visited California in 2019. We ate breakfast at the bait shop and there even is a picture hanging on the wall with autographs of the cast of The O.C. 🙂 Thank you for your videos! We always watch them and will use them for an upcoming post-pandemic Las Vegas Trip. Best

This is fascinating. I have never heard of an "endless" pier before. Looks like a cool place to walk and dine. Thanks for introducing us to this pier!
  • I grew up in the Redondo Beach area during the 50’s and 60’s. I feel very nostalgic about the pier area. I live in Murrieta California now and miss Redondo. Thanks for an arm chair tour.
