What Gwadar Port's Failure Says About China's Belt & Road Initiative | Vantage with Palki Sharma

The Gwadar Port in Pakistan under the Belt and Road initiative is struggling. An assessment by a German news outlet has revealed that the port received just 17 ships in 2023 - making it the worst-performing port funded by China. The Gwadar project is part of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). From political upheaval to charges of corruption - the project has been marred by multiple problems since its launch. Moreover, Chinese investments in Gwadar have faced a backlash from the locals. In recent years, attacks on Chinese workers in Pakistan have increased. Palki Sharma tells you more.

    who's responsible for Gwadar's failure ? US ❌ India❌ Pakistan ✅

Gwadar was never built for business tbh. For China, it's a port to be used by its navy to keep a check on India.

I am here Only for Palki sharma... She can take on whole Pakistan by herself with a single hand....😂😂😂😂
  • China never invested in Gwadar to benefit pakistan. It was built soley to a) Keep an eye on India in it's backyard, b) To ensure continuous oil supplies reach China in the event of India and US combining to choke Malacca Strait in case of a global conflict.

" flop show" China had no idea what it would face in Pakisan, ie, a very unique kind of begging mentality of Pak. Something in the water?

Gwadar port is a military port in event of a war with india or USA It is not a commercial port

I am curious, As a soon-to-be retiree, keeping my 401k on track after a bumpy 2022 is a high goal. I've read about investors generating up to $250k ROI in this present sinking market; any suggestions for increasing my ROI before retirement would be greatly appreciated.

Gwadar Port may not be important to anyone. But important for China's short route.😂
  • Chabahar Port, IMEC route, International North-South Transport corridor, North East lndia-Asian connectivity, Haifa Port, Sabang Port, Sitwe Port, Lakshadweep & A&C Ports & so on are strategic move by lndia to boost it's trade with the host nations & their regions. They are seeing & will see hive of trade activities.
