coming from a Brit who works with the Royal Navy, you were extremely privileged in your visit. You had a senior officer's cabin, the lower ranks share 6 to 8 to a cabin. Bataan is an LHD, about a third of the weight of a Carrier. Lining the deck for a port visit is called Procedure Alpha and is taken seriously by all navies. I'm glad the crew bought into the fun of it and I know it's the Top Gun jacket but it's seriously frowned upon to wear patches you haven't earned..but what the heck, great skit, great video, great ass...

That would be a wasp class aphibious landing carrier, their used when ground assult and transportation of troops is needed due to their storage of both vtol aircraft, helicopters, and landing tanks/Amphibious tanks
