You know its a good year when oversimplified comes back.

I will never understand how Hollywood did not pick up this story. It is easily one of the most epic stories in history: two powers, deathbed oaths, surprise attacks, military moves that are studied to this day...

For one entire year, us Oversimplified fans have waited for the best. Soon the best will come.

I can't help but feel like this channel started out as either a hobby project or a school project and has now become one of the highest quality, best channels on YouTube, if not the best.

I literally started smiling like a maniac while chanting “I knew you were coming” and “I only had to wait.” 🤣 I didn’t even expect myself to be that happy about this upload.

i dont know whats better 1. the fact that oversimplified uploaded 2. the fact that this is a pretty neat recap 3. the fact that this feels like a movie trailer for the first war, down to spoiling every good plot twist just like all of the current trailers do (which is the whole point cause this is a recap but the editing made it feel like a trailer)

I only discovered your channel a couple of weeks ago, and I've been having a blast going through your videos. I didn't realize after finishing the First Punic Wars that it had been a year until I was idly scrolling through comments. I'm the type that's cool with waiting for a good video/book/whatever - I'd rather wait for the good stuff than have the creator overwhelmed and rushed. Then it was only a day or two later that you released the next videos and ohhhh man, just... so glad to see the style was the same, the story epic, I must have watched it five times now. You're amazing, thank you for everything!
