  • People don’t understand how fucking big Luka is, he can absorb hits and you can’t see how hard he was hit because he’s so big and I think people don’t understand that
  • @drew318
Luka is getting Pre Finals win Lebron and MJ treatment. Shows how great he is, no one else ever has gotten this disrespect for averaging 30 points in the finals. That’s also while holding the best offense in the league to 107, 105 & 106 and having the best defended fg% on the team.
  • Luka is getting more hate than the Celtics are getting plaudits for their great performance. It’s a disservice to both parties

Jalen Brunson is spot on! Criticizing Luka Doncic unfairly during the Finals is just not right. He's a standout player who deserves more respect. Keep proving them wrong, Luka! 🏀👏
  • People been waiting to blame luka. Dude can drop a 40 piece triple double with the most steals in the playoffs(he did that) and people like "nah that's just what luka does." Like its nothing. Now that he's had some blow bys and Kyrie and his WHOLE team is slacking, its ALL about luka. Yall can't give no credit when its due but jump on his back when you get the opportunity.
  • @ON-yh7ys
So glad Brunson is getting this much attention now
  • Mavs fan here just to say we still love you JB. I'd love to see a Knicks / Mavs finals next year!!!!!

People are making the Finals about Luka, when it's clear that the Celtics just have too much firepower and were the better team from the start. - The Celtics have several of the best spot up shooters in the NBA, the Mavs have PJ Washington and Derrick Jones Jr. - The Celtics have multiple All-NBA defenders, the Mavs have zero. - The Celtics have 5 guys who can create their own shot, the Mavs only have two. The Mavs need to find a way to get Mikal Bridges this summer.

Jalen Brunson is amazing player and amazing person, it looks like he is also a great friend and I respect that. To bad he is not with MAVS anymore, but on the other hand I'm happy for him since he's been so awesome this season in New York, became one of the best players in the league.
  • Who the hell would criticize Luca Doncic? he is giving 110 percent and is playing through pain that would shelve most players. the celtics are too deep. wow. this would be like dissing jerry west when he was playing against the early celtic teams. this boston team is just too strong.

With the Mavs, a complete underdog, getting to the Finals, Luka's haters were waiting for anything to be able to come out. ESPN has been very anti-Luka these past 2 seasons and it shows, not being able to even appreciate without downplaying Luka's season is wild.

They’ve been waiting to blame Luka and they finally got something to try and blame him for. Half of the American media hates Luka, they are upset the best players in the league are from Europe. His defense isn’t why they are losing. The Celtics team is stacked and Mavs role players are playing like shit. It’s been Luka one man show majority of the series besides Kyrie finally showing up for game 3. They expect Luka to be the best offensive and defensive player while also playing on one leg.
  • Jalen is right about Luka. The man is banged up and getting banged up at the highest level.
  • @SiborgGamer
People just love to hate on something the moment they can and from there it just snowballs nowadays
  • @mediamannaman
I've been casual fan on a lot of teams that past few years and really did not see Brunson's career path until this year. Amazing player, top tier. Wouldn't mind having him on the Spurs.
  • @aiurea1
Jalen Brunson is a great colleague friend, he was traded from Dallas and has no grudge. Great friend and man
  • @jkepic25
Brunson is winner in heart, he won 2 ncaa. He also very respectful. He could shine better in Dallas if more chance was given, but that is easy to say now.
