He told reporters at the G7 summit that he hadn't lost hope "but it's going to be tough."
With little progress in the peace talks, Israel has kept up its airstrikes in central Gaza - while its forces have advanced further inside the southern city of Rafah.

Shame on Blinken for pretending the “peace” deal was rejected by Palestine. Like all deals there is negotiation to be had but to publicise that the deal was rejected is cynical and disingenuous. By these actions he has given the war criminal state of Israel more time to commit further atrocities. It’s disgusting and needs to be called out.

What a great reputation Israel is building for itself. I grew up completely unaware that anyone had lived in that land before Israel was created. There were a few confusing comments here and there but I've never cared much about politics. This evil ongoing attack on the civilians in Gaza got my attention and even I started doing a little research and watching the news. A few weeks ago I even bought a 1920s atlas at an antiques store just because it has more than one map with Palestine in it and so many liars keep trying to tell me that the land there was not called Palestine before the formation of Israel in the 1940s.
