I love this game engine, it's my favourite wargaming system. I've not played any of the Squad Battles series before, plus I don't own any WW2 games from WDS, so Eagles Strike felt like a good choice!
If you want to try one of these games before you pay any more, you can download a free demo of the Squad Battles series "Grenada" here: wargameds.com/collections/squad-battles/products/g…

I remember playing this a long long time ago. I loved SL and ASL and this series always gave me those vibes.

Really well-explained overview! I'm a strategy gamer who recently discovered Wargame Design Studio within the last few years, and I am so impressed with the quality of their games and their dedication to constantly improving them. They definitely deserve to have their games be seen more.

Glad to see a wargame on your channel! I stayed away from the JTS/WDS ones because of the UI, my loss I guess :/ I like that the game has a detailed manual.

oh, so you have squads with m1,m1,m1 and support of m1 while wearing m1 and m1?

How could you not show off them 3d graphics?

20 something y.o. big pixel tactics for $0, seems like it's worth a dig. You were questioning the scale, I had a look at the website and it said this: The game scale is 40 meter hexes and 5 minute turns.
