Apologies if you notice a slight decrease in the actual video quality. My PC and Premiere Pro didn't get along when trying to render the video, so to stop it from failing every time, I had to render it out at a lower bit rate. Maybe you don't notice anything and maybe I'm overthinking, but if you did notice, now you know why! Hope you all had a good holiday period and a happy new year!

Yes, this video is 3 months old now, but yes, this video (if it doesn't already) absolutely needs a part 2 whereby you go another 30-50 years in the future, post-embargo era, and see if the powerhouses can claw their way back to the summit and topple the current status quo!

Give the Welsh league 1 billion but bring back teams playing in England like Cardiff attempt 5
-
I would be interested to know how the national teams have developed in that time!
-
I think seeing national coefficients would be pretty interesting. Maybe South American clubs would grow due to the better academy players staying in the country?
-
As a Halifax fan this is very nice to see!! 😅 I’d love to be able to have a deeper look at them and how they’ve progressed through the leagues
-
I appreciate you taking a look at the continental competitions outside of Europe. Interesting for people that follows teams outside of Europe
-
Cerro Porteño is one of the most important clubs in Paraguay and the second biggest club there. They always appear in round of 16, quarter finals. Not a huge surprise.
-
lmao it's fucking bonkers that my hometown Resende team becomes the most dominant team in South America!!! they're currently in the Brazilian 4th tier and in the 2nd tier of the RIo State championship. VERY far away from winning anything meaningful. they do have a youth collaboration/partnership with Lyon though, so that's cool. banger video as always Tom, loved this twist!
-
13:30 hey Tom, it's actually not "literally everyone else", haha. CD Chaves (placed 15th on the table you were checking) is also currently in the Portuguese Premier Division.
-
Love going to Eastleigh games a few times per year, hilarious to see them win the CL. Their academy is solid tbf.
-
as an eastliegh fan i have always been watching these videos begging that they benefit or even just get mentioned, fair to say winning the champions league is a fair mention
-
I would love to see the ca and pa of the Halifax squad, as well as a team with embargo like Man City. Nice work!
-
brentford not even in the national north/south: i assume as they don't really have a youth academy they've just fallen out of the playable leagues
-
Nice video! Keep up the good work. Only thing about this video is I would have liked to see the transfers and the transfer fees of the clubs with the transfer embargo, hopefully a quick part 2?
-
Would have been interesting to take a look at the finances of the teams, decade by decade to see which clubs are richer and how does that switch. How do they invest money? They get hundreds of millions in income they cannot spend other than in wages, then as soon as players start to retire, not even in wages. After the first 10 years living off of reputation alone certain teams would have more money than the games mechanics would allow them to keep. Also, lots in tax bills.

Nice stuff Tom. This Transfer Ban Experiments are always very interesting too Watch 👌👍.
-
That Brazilian club seems to be affiliated with Olympique Lyon based on their club crest, which might have something to do with their massive rise.
-
My Current save is with Tours, I seen they had been relegated 2 times in a row to the 4th tier and the name is pretty good.
-
id like to see a video where all leagues have a massively reduced prize money and TV deal (maybe just 10% of what it is now) would wages come down. would clubs go bankrupt! etc etc should be v interesting
